I've had to go through 3 of these optics before landing on one that I decided to live with. The first had a defective auto brightness feature that constantly jumped between brightness settings while in one room with constant and even lighting. The second unit had a battery tray that could not be removed and broke when attempting to remove it. I'm pretty sure it was glued into place. The third unit had a similar problem to the second, but I was able to finally get the tray out after breaking a specialty tool and damaging the tray. This tray definitely had some sort of residue on the backside of the tray. Thankfully, a second tray is included in the box, so the optic is still usable. It could just be a bad run, but I would avoid the unit until Holosun and Optics Planet get this figured out. Also, the "wolf grey" has a slight green tint to the color, so it doesn't match any other wolf grey.
