Great tool and simple

Written on Mar 13, 2020

This has been a great addition to the cleaning kit. Since I need to clean the action more than cleaning the barrel this is ideal. It is easy to use and the pads you get for it work great in larger spaces. The handle does not turn like the handles on regular cleaning rods and than makes it easy to move the swabs or pads around in the chamber to get the results I want. And the Dewey rods are sturdy.

Great scope for the pricw

Written on Apr 10, 2018

I have tried this on 2 rifles, 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor, and have like the scope on both. It holds the zero well and runs the box test just fine. Have been able to shoot .75 and better groups with the 6.5 consistently at 100 yds. With the 308 it had very good clarity even out to 750 yds (middle of the day in good sun). I will be taking it out with teh 6.5 to the long range later this week and expect very good performance. Seems sturdy and have traveled well, even after it got dropped a couple times. The quality and clarity is very good for a scope under $1000. THe XLR eticle is excellent for hold over shooting and could make quick work of adjustments on game at distance.
