It’s been two and a half years and this plate carrier is still holding up to daily patrol work. It’s run fully loaded and utilizing soft armor plates from AR500. Could still be improved but it’s impressive especially for the price

I bought this for my AR500 Valkyrie carrier which Is loaded with AR500 10x12 hybrid plates. I tried to load it with three Pmags and could only get two fully in. When I positioned them all into the mag pouch at an even and acceptable hight they couldn’t e removed quickly. It took a lot of force to get them out. Might work better with steel mags but I dint want to buy three steel magazines. The product is of good quality though.

I’ve been running this product on my duty rig for a year now. Best decision I made as far as equipment goes. No need to unholster my wrapping when going into the county jail or state prison and it’s a simple swap out to a paddle or belt loop for off duty carry or trainings. Eliminated the need for multiple holsters.

I’ve had a lot of 5.11 pants over the 16 years I’ve been a police officer these are by far the best the company has offered. I gave four stars instead of five due to them fitting small in the waist, I’d recommend going up one size. Everything else is spot
In. Pockets where you want them not where you don’t. Pocket placing doesn’t waste space and the cargo pockets are deeper then other models and brands. I finally found cargo pockets the fit my search gloves and close.

Seems like a quality belt unfortunately it’s too narrow for duty use in my opinion. despite the description it’s barely an inch wide. The sizing is also incorrect. Medium is supposed to fit waist size 32-36. I’m a 34 waist, and I was able to get the belt secured but it was so tight it hurt and I only had about an inch of the Velcro secured. I’d have exchange belt for a large if the belt was wider

Just received the VX-500 tactical vest in the mail. My first impression is that it seems legit. It’s not perfect but what is and for the price point it’s appears to rival more expensive plate carriers. It has some features that more expensive plate carriers don’t, but it could also be improved. I bought this to check out the zipper attached cummerbund. I didn’t have high hopes and was expecting to return it. While I was a little disappointed to find the zipper was nylon and not metal it appears to be heavy duty enough. Fits my 11x14 soft armor plate just fine, and can be adjust to fit smaller then advertised. I have a 37 in chest. The cummerbund accepts 6X6 plates without the need for additional pockets which is nice. Could be improved by adding pals webbing to the shoulder pads and more hook and loop to the back pals. I had to add some Velcro strapping to attach my ID panel. Also swapping the hook and loop with snap for a zipper to open the lower kangaroo pouch would be great. And of course upgrade to metal zippers. I’ll up date the review in a few months, gotta see how it handles daily use.

This belt, like my other Elite Survival Gear is well made and sturdy. The Cobra buckle make life way easier and the fact that the belt is a full 2.25 means all standards duty belt accessories have a snug fit. Only issue is it take a while to break in because it’s a little thick.

My department switched to these about a year ago. They’re sturdy, well made and really hold up to abuse. I’ve noticed no color fade or stretching in the fabric. The pants are cut properly and comfortable. They’re pricy but you get what you pay for.

This glove pouch like everything I’ve picked up from elite survival is well constructed and of high quality. I tried like heck to make this work for me, unfortunately I just couldn’t get it done. The problem is that the glove pouch is huge. On a 2 1/4 inch duty belt it has a half inch of over hang top and bottom and it protrudes about an inch from the belt when loaded with two pair of gloves. It could realistically fit four pair. I just couldn’t find a comfortable location on my belt to carry it. It caused pinching at every location and got hung up on everything from chairs to seatbelts.
