Weaver K-4 Classic 4x38mm Dual-X Rifle Scope
Cracked the lens on my old Leupold 4x somehow, so bought the Weaver to replace it. The Weaver may be a great scope for the money, but after nearly 30 years with my old Leupold I can tell you the Weaver in not in the same class. Optics just plain aren't as good. Plus, the Leupold was nice and compact, the Weaver seems to be at least an inch longer.
So, returned the Weaver and sent the Leupold in for repair. If you were buying new I realize the Leupold is twice the price, but if you keep the scope for 30 years the extra $150 doesn't mean that much.
Optics Planet was very good to work with for the return and I will be shopping here for my optics in the future.
