I was at the range and had been shooting my PWS AR that I installed a Larue MBT trigger on ($100). I switched to my 10/22 and was surprised how heavy and sloppy the stock trigger pull was. I thought it was terrible. I came home and ordered this trigger ($80) and a Wheeler Pro digital trigger pull gauge. The gauge arrived first and I determined the pull on the stock trigger was a little over 4.5 lbs, which surprised me. I thought it was much heavier. It took 10 days for the new trigger to arrive. I installed it immediately and measured the pull weight at 2.5 lbs. Still sloppy, but a big improvement. It's not as crisp as the Larue MBT, but it will do. There was no way I was going to spend $200 on a Volkquartsen trigger. I'm fairly satisfied with my purchase but I do wish Ruger would put a little more effort into manufacturing this trigger and make it much better. All that Ruger industrial capacity and know how could make this trigger much better.

Impressed with this subsonic Winchester .22 I had the barrel on my 10/22 shortened to minimum legal length and threaded for my OSS/HUXWRX .22 suppressor. Rifle has a 1x circle dot Holosun HS503R on it. This ammo cycles reliably. This setup is very quiet and very accurate. Highly recommend to anyone needing subsonic .22.
