I was shocked to see that it was made in China, the finish and function operates as it was designed. I purchased this model since it was supposed to be compatible with a dual lead unity switch that I have, the plugs fit and it does operate but the slightest tension on the lead or plug causes it to separate from the light. I have created some strain relief using zip ties and will run it that way for now, worst case scenario I will take the mount off and have another truck light.

The product is well made and is very tight fitting. I believe that it's a messed up that you have to order separate plates at an additional cost for your 1K plus pistol. If the head guys at Springfield Armory are listening you should reconfigure the gun to either accept all sights or at least include all of the plates with the pistol.
