No More Twang

Put this spring into a gun that I plan to use for coyote hunting. It did get rid of the twang you often hear from the buffer spring. The spring seems a little stiffer than the spring I replaced but functions fine in the gun. I plan to put one of these into an AR-10 I'm upgrading in the near future.

Basic Gas Tube

This is a basic gas tube and it is doing it's job. Installed and fit great with no issues. Used this tube to replace a rifle length tube that was stock in the gas block I removed from the barrel. I would bu this again.

Henry Repeating Arms Co Weaver-Style Receiver Scope Mount For Henry Big Boy Rifles Gen2 BB-RSM
This is the Henry factory mount so it went right on the gun. You cannot use the fixed sights once the base is on so I would not try to use removable rings. This is not a problem for me though since My old eyes needs the scope anyway. Looks good on the gun.

Decent Scope for the Price

After reading several reviews I chose this scope and it performed as advertised. I was able to see 30 cal shots easily at 200yds. 22 cal shots were visible at 200yds but were distorted more by mirage than the 30 cal shots which is to be expected. The glass is clear edge to edge, the color seems pretty true, and contrast is good. The fit and finish is good and I think it should hold up in the field. I would buy this scope again.

Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x40mm Rifle Scope
I recently mounted this scope on a new gun, so I have not had a chance to hunt with it. The glass is clear edge to edge and seems to have good contrast when looking into the woods. The Boone and Crockett cross hairs are exactly what I have been looking for. I don't want or need a bunch of dots and this reticle provides a simple way to compensate for drop and windage without a lot of thought. I look forward to putting this scope to the test out in the field.
