Not bad for price

This was bought to replace the factory AR15 style grip on a Ruger Precision rifle in 300 PRC. It’s not as expensive as some of the other vertical/zero-angle grips and I like the fact that it’s rubberized vs plastic/nylon. It’s pretty basic beyond that (no thumb shelf like other brands).

This is the second one of these that I’ve purchased. I have one on an AR10 that shoots 6.5 CM, 24” barrel and the latest was to replace the undesirable 1st gen stock on a Ruger Precision rifle in 300 PRC with a 26” barrel. Be advised that these are heavy buttstocks, but they work great for bench rest shooting. They also come with adapters for carbine or rifle buffer tubes (AR15 or AR10). Optics Planet had the best pricing and that’s why I bought it here.

This is the same grip that came installed on my Tikka T3X Tac A1....just without the Fab Defense name on it. I used to use the Magpul K2 plus on everything but I've switched over to these because they feel great and still allow you to manipulate AR15 safeties with ease. I've built numerous AR's, shoot precision rifle and also enjoy shooting the AKM platform. I put these on everything now!

First of all, I've been shooting Armalite rifles since military service in 1993. Over the past couple of years my grip of choice has been the Magpul K2 plus. I stumbled crossed this grip after buying a Fab Defense GL-Shock for a .458 Socom build. After taking a closer look at it, the molding is almost an exact replica of the grip on myTikka T3X Tac A1 .308 and I love that grip. The stippling, angle and overall feel is just nice....kind of like holding a 1911, it just feels good. This will be my new AR go-to grip. Although I like the feel of the Magpul K2 plus, the angle isn't the best for manipulating the safety by thumb.
