These Salomon Speed Assault 2 boots are so great, I just bought a second pair.
I bought my first pair (in black) about 3 months ago. Great boots for shooting on outdoor ranges, field work and "run and gun"-style competitions: lightweight, flexible, great traction (like knobby tires for your feet) and good ankle support. Stop wearing sneakers, and get a pair of these.
Only problem? Black boots don't go with everything -- so I bought another pair in flat dark earth. Just as good as the first pair.
Salomon really knows what they're doing. Get a pair!

I'm a competitive shooter, and shoot "run and gun" competitions almost every weekend -- lots of short sprints, quick cuts left or right, and sharp stops, all in dirt or gravel. The stress and strain on your feet and ankles is significant. I had tried running these competitions in regular athletic shoes, lightweight hiking boots and even over-the-ankle boots. Lots of skidding around, sliding and the occasional turned ankle.
I saw a lot of people at these competitions wearing Salomon shoes -- so I figured I'd try a pair. Amazing! Lightweight, incredibly comfortable, incredible traction/ground grip, and good ankle support/protection. I can maneuver better in these than the best athletic sneakers I've got.
So happy, I'm buying another pair in another color!

This is the second time I've purchased Volquartsen OEM magazines from Optics Planet. I got two with my original purchase of a Volquartsen Mamba X rimfire pistol -- but you need 5 or 6 to compete, so I bought more.
The Volquartsen OEM mags are extremely well-manufactured, operate flawlessly, and stand up to routine competition shooting abuse. I've never had a feed problem with my Volquartsen mags (wish I could say the same about my Ruger mags).
A little pricey (as far as 22 rimfire mags go), but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for.

Great sights for a rimfire 22!

I love these Volquartsen rear sights. I bought them (together with a fiber optic front sight) to upgrade the sights on my Ruger Mark IV rimfire pistol. The original Ruger sights were plain "competition" sights (black front, black rear), which were not the best shooting in bright sunlight.
The new combo is much better -- almost like a poor man's red dot.
The great advantage of the Volquartsen rear sights is the ability to adjust both windage and elevation post-install. This allows you to precisely "zero in" your iron sights, not unlike zeroing in a red dot. Allows you to achieve perfect accuracy.
