I was on the fence with this purchase as the reticle and lens sits low on the rail while the electronics and emitter sit on top. I was concerned that the ghost ring, red dot and front sight would just crowd the lens. I was so wrong. I almost returned the product before opening it up. Well I am glad I decided to open it up and put it on the rail of my 1014 12 gauge shotgun. This optic is unbelievable. High quality, superior glass, super clear reticle, and its design is something all manufacturers should adopt. Out of the box, the reticle sat just on top of the front sight, and the rear ghost ring was not even noticeable. The sight picture was superb. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a shotgun optic that does not require you to change your cheek rise to see through it. My cheek sits comfortably where it would if I were using the stock Ghost ring and front sight. This provides a pronounced reticle that really brings out my point of aim. It is a high quality, affordable, and very innovative optic. I will likely purchase more for my other shotguns.

I purchased this as I hoped the lower weight from stock would fix my ammo jam issues (double feed, stove pipe, failure to extract, etc.) when using 115 grain ammo with my two compensators. It didn't make a difference. I've returned it.

The Faxon is a super sleek looking barrel. It has the flame flares around it and was super easy to install. I highly recommend this as your purchase if looking for a new, threaded barrel for your Glock 19 Gen 5.
