Very solid construction

I've been trying to do everything I can to make my rifle 1/4 MOA or better at 500yds. I purchased this scope mount in conjunction with a pair of Seekins 30mm scope rings and couldn't be happier. The rail has a nice finish out of the box, yet I was prepared to bed the rail to hlep with any possible stress relief from torqueing from mounting. Surprisingly, there is no flex or warping of this rail so it did not need bedding to the receiver! The only downside I can see is if the scope is on the shorter side or has a really steep angle for the bell of the objective lense, there may be some clearance issues. If I build another rifle or help a friend with theirs, this rail will be the first one I choose for mounting any scopes.

I decided to spend some money on a rifle that had some potential. These scope rings, paired with an EGW HD scope mount, work perfect. They needed minimal lapping compared to all of the budget scope rings I have on other rifles and hold the scope well with the recommended torque settings. If I need another set of scope rings for any future 30mm tubed scopes, these will be the ones I get.
