Greatly increases range through magnification. It multiplies your capabilities the same way a magnifier does behind a red dot sight. Bring things closer into view. The lens is large enough that even in low light conditions I found little decrease in available light. In no light it's very dark and requires a long-range illuminator like the Armasight XLR series but with the doubler attached. The doubler tightens your light beam and truly doubles its effective range.
Mine came in a plastic bag in a box. The threads on my old ATN NVM14 are very fine and I wasn't sure I'd be able to thread anything into them. But they weren't banged up, nor were the threads on this lens, and they were able to mate just fine. I used a Butler Creek cap I had laying around to protect the glass.
Good product for my old MVN-14 or a NYX-14. I'll have to find an ocular cover also and a carry pouch for it.

A Ghost White Elbit Pinnacle tube with 2000 FOM minimum and both 3x and 6x additional lenses add extreme long-range capabilities to the ubiquitous PVS-14, rarely matched in the field. This kit guarantees you a prime, clean white Elbit Pinnacle tube with your choice of minimum FOMs, vetted by Armasight, and also includes two functional and beautifully made 3x and 6x magnifying lenses to greatly increase your detection and identification range over similar non-equipped monoculars. These lenses thread on to the objective lens of any standard PVS-14 and do not affect the way your focus is operated. A 2376 version is offered for those who are overachievers.
The NVD tube is clean in the 2000 FOM minimum tube, it has to be better in the 2376 version. A complete kit would also include the Armasight IR 940 XLR illuminator with the Armasight XLR illuminator doubler. The doubler is a lens that screws onto the end of the IR light and constricts the light beam into a tight circle with little bleeding around the edges, instead concentrating the light to reach much farther.
The kit with the IR light and doubler and be done with it for a lifetime.

Beautifully made product, a quality product. Threads on PVS-14 lenses of different manufacture, stays screwed in when adjusting focus. Focus operation remains unchanged. Amazing magnification increase with any standard PVS-14, greatly increasing functionality of the PVS-14.
It does suck light though, and there is noticeable vignetting around the edges. Long range observation was aided by my Armasight's IR-XLR 940 IR illuminator with their own doubler attached. This lens doubler screws into the IR light and focuses the beam into a tight round circle that has much greater range, but at the sacrifice of peripheral light. It's simply a 2x magnifier for your IR light.
In urban areas with ambient this 6x lens works great, although image is best in the center, and the whole extreme outside of the image is dark, where vignetting completely took over. This is true with or without additional illumination of the IR940.
The image is excellent with some ambient light. The lens does not distort the image in the center, but rather offers greater detail than without the additional magnification. I found it too front heavy and a bit comical to wear it on a helmet mounted PVS-14 but if someone finds a reason for this, have fun.
Beautiful lens, optically excellent, offers great capabilities increase when used with enough light. Comes with rubber ocular and objective covers and drawstring pouch.

This gorgeous 3x lens is truly a force-multiplier, the same way a 3x magnifier is in back of a red dot sight on a rifle. It greatly increases the maximum distance you can detect and identify targets of opportunity or threats. The capability increase is obvious. I can't always identify a person's face at 100 yards with my naked eye, for instance, but I mostly can with 3x more magnification. This lens is about the size and weight of a shot glass. It packs easily with the rubber covers and drawstring bag it comes with. It seems obvious to my eye that this is a quality optic. The build quality is excellent and attractive, and the carefully machined threads mated easily with different manufacturers of PVS14 objectives.
It did not significantly decrease the light to my eye in my testing, although I did adjust my gain. Image quality was excellent, but it sure is different looking through an electro-optic that is normally 1x, now increased to 3x. This little lens can be used when helmet-mounted on your PVS-14, particularly if you're looking to fall and injure yourself. For stationary use, it is quickly and smoothly attached and removed, and your PVS-14 focusing mechanism remains unchanged.
This should be part of every PVS-14 kit. It weighs little, takes up hardly any room, increases the useable distance of your PVS-14 by 3x, and seems to be a good value for a quality optic.
Armasight also offers a 6x magnification lens and can be purchased with the 3x lens in a kit for the ultim

This greatly increases the capabilities of your PVS-14 and should be part of every kit. It's the size and weight of a shot glass and is a gorgeous precision optic. It packs easily in the rubber covers and soft bag it comes with. The quality of the optic is obvious, and I'm mostly referring to the build quality. The body has a nice sheen, and it threads on smoothly to various manufacturer PVS-14 objective lenses. It does not alter the objective focus at all, and once installed it is static. In my darkest testings it detracted from image quality and light insignificantly, but instead gave me the same useable performance increase that a 3x magnifier does in back of a red dot. Honestly, for stationary observation I can't see why these beautiful magnifiers are not spoken of in the same breath as the ubiquitous red dot sight magnifier, since they work together like powder fowling and nitro solvent. They are made for each other.
I was able to walk easily on unobstructed ground while wearing my helmet-mounted PVS-14 with the magnifier attached, and found it easy to do, although I would not recommend this over more obstructed ground with branches, it's dizzying and dangerous.
If you shoot with red dots and magnifiers, you understand how powerful a force-multiplier the increase in magnification gives you. Scanning for varmints of all leg counts effectively happens now at several times the distance than without the magnification. Truly a force-multiplier. Nothing like a gimmick, but a

This is the identical OTTE Gear helmet bag I've used for years, but in Armasight's Gunship Grey color. From experience, it holds a fully rigged helmet with hearing protection stationarily enough that during handling, my old Streamlight TLRs on both sides of my Team Wendy helmet are not activated. The newer Streamlight TLRs have rotating bezels that lock the operation to off, a feature that I greatly appreciate. But neither my old TLR1 or my TLR-IR that I keep on my helmet have that feature. What I'm getting at is that the helmet is secure enough when fastened by the internal straps that I don't have to worry about activating a light inside my bag due to normal handling or bumps. I keep the helmet at a slight angle and have never had an issue with accidental light activation. That TLR1 can get hot.
I keep my BNVDs in the removable pouch in back, and there's plenty of room. I disconnect my mount and sequester it in one side of the pouch with one of its two adjustable panels. My goggles are safe from anything hard or sharp. Pouches in the side of the bag hold extra batteries and lens tissue and Altoids.
Well made for a lifetime of use, dual full-length zippers, Gunship Grey color. Combine it with Armasight Gunship Grey helmet, mount, and goggle for a functionally superb kit in a classy and sick grey color.
Excellent bag, black color inside, not the shocking fluorescent orange inside like my OTTE gear bag.

This is a Wilcox G24 mount in grey. Not a copy, but a genuine Wilcox-manufactured G-24 dovetail mount called a G95 because it is in Armasight's Gunship Grey color. Otherwise, it's a genuine Wilcox G24, the best there is.
These mounts have the most solid lockup and adjustability of any dovetail helmet mount made. They are included equipment with the world's most technically advanced night vision goggles in existence including the PVS-31D by Elbit/Armasight and the PVS31A by L-3.
These latest versions offer increased range of adjustability over legacy models.
This Gunship Grey mount connects Armasight's grey bump helmet and grey BNVD goggles and the three together just ooze cool. Different, serious-looking color at night holding bada** equipment adds to the satisfaction of using the sickest gear.
It's a Wilcox G-24 in grey, the best mount there is. Buy once, cry once.

These are the workhorses you find in the field. Dual Bravo tubes, a few spots, save a ton. The housings, optics, and electronics have been proven by armies around the world as well as pig hunters around America. And people like me.
Robust, articulable barrels allow you to choose one aided eye or both. This works great to keep your biological night vision with one eye and not contaminate it with light. Use either barrel or both at the same time. It shuts off automatically when raised vertically on a helmet mount and powers on when lowered to horizontal. Armasight has their own Wilcox G24 helmet mount in gunship grey and it's the best of its kind. I used this mount on Armasight's grey bump helmet, and it is the perfect combination when well-fitted.
Lower the goggles into the perfect place quickly due to the integral IPD adjustments. The barrels have IPD (interpupillary distance) stops that can be tailored to fit your eyes perfectly. These glasses offer an excellent standard 40-degree FOV that is about as far across as the eye can see at one time. Eye relief is good and I had no issues when viewing with eye protection.
Comes with horn and dovetail mounting attachments but you really should use the dovetail interface for the best performance, especially when paired with the cantilever weight of a night vision unit hanging in front of your eyes.
Coupled with a Wilcox G24 mount on your well-fitting helmet you have capabilities that a single monocular cannot do. Some depth of f
