Survives 9,500 Ft/lbs at the muzzle
Written on Sep 03, 2016
I had this Millet professionally installed following Millets instructions for mounting on a 50 BMG platform. After 200 rounds the scope tracks with no issue and the reticle has held up. The MIL system will take some adjustment time if you are use to a MOA click scope. I recommend making a spread sheet and let it calculate the clicks you need to hit a target at known distance. The millet manual gives you the formulas to do this.

Review for
SightMark Tactical Magnifier
The Sightmark 7X magnifier works great and clears up fuzzy red dots. The mount is interesting and requires better instructions for mounting it.
For example you MUST mount the pitacanny clamp handle on the left side opposite where rounds eject. Next you have to make sure the clamp handle clamps forward towards the muzzle or trying to rack you charging handle gets interference.
After installation I gave my weapon a full function test to see if the slide to the side function gets in the way. The slide to the side unit holds the magnifier in place tight when I tack reload and speed reload (I swing flip and eject my mags). When the magnifier is down to the side and I bring my weapon up to my work space I do have to turn the weapon a little more to do a bore check to see if a mag is empty, stove pipe, or double feed. (doesn't bother me)
The reason I gave it 4 stars was my slide to the side function was seized up and I had to use a 5/64 ellen wrench and loosen up screws and lube the slide lock locations. After that no issues.
