Review for
LaserLyte Universal Laser Bore Sight
The laser it's self is not a problem. It is bright enough to show 50 to 70 yards with no problem, maybe a lot more. It comes with a treated paper target laminated with a plastic film that reflects the laser light and literally lights up from a long distance, so when your light hits the target, laser light just pops out super bright. The problem is getting the laser centered in the gun. It comes with little plastic bushings that screw into the tip of the laser light housing itself, sizes for 4 different calibers. As you screw the tip into the gun, the more you screw, the wider the plastic bushing gets, so the laser fits snugly in your gun barrel. Kind of cheap, but effective. No matter how careful you are, no matter how much you have the bore jammed in the barrel, no matter how closely you centered it before you placed it on the rest, even the slightest movement of the gun will cause it to move ever so slightly, meaning it is now out of center. You adjust the laser again with the gun on the rest, trying the best you can to get it centered until it is shining on the target. You then remove the bore, load your gun and fire. Depending on how close you were at centering the bore, your bullet/pallet may or may not hit the target. I tried for
