As Expected

Written on Jul 30, 2020

This upper receiver (as it is to be expected by aero precision) is very well machined, the price is a little more then say a standard Anderson though. The price most likely reflects the quality and the Cerakote that was already done to it.

Slight Angle Grip

Written on Jul 01, 2020

This thing just kind of works, it does not wiggle, it allows the ability to switch the angle forward or back. Yeah it works great. It does not come with a hex key, hopefully you have some, if not you could probably buy some from this site...

Standard Buffer Tube

Written on May 30, 2020

This thing just plain works, a no-nonsense buffer tube, it comes as is. That is no castle nut or plate. If you need extra reasons to buy it, it does come in pre-cerakoted colors (actual cerakote base colors, not brand cerakote colors) from the factory.

Very Low Iron Sights

Written on May 04, 2020

Cue the song low rider since these are the lowest iron sights on the market. Perfect for SBRs and pistols where space is limited and you need to prioritize vertical space management. Would recommend putting some light (or heavy) thread locker to secure it in place...

It just works

Written on Feb 15, 2020

The craftsmanship is mil-spec, the threads are thick enough to support an end plate pin, and the FDE matches Cerakote FDE. What’s not to like? Overall a good buy if you intend on a mil-spec buffer tube.

Low Threads

Written on Feb 03, 2020

Due to the low to the surface threading on the buffer tube this gets a low review as it works in every other way. When you are tightening the castle nut the back plate knob that rides in the crevice of the tube itself will run over the threads, leading to the tube turning and your stock canted and able to spin.
