This thing is really big, ended up being too big for my belt and my needs but I still recommend it. Plenty of room for all your trauma kit, really awesome. I ended up keeping it and will use later down the road.

Get the CMMG unit. This cost too much for what it is and how it functions.

Troy Ambidextrous Magazine Release
Look at the unit from CMMG instead. I've run it for a little bit on two different non ambi lowers and I've found that sometimes running around while drilling or if I put the rifle on my back sometimes my gear or whatever will bump the release and drop the mag. Embarrassing on the low end, deadly on the high end.

Not sure which way is front, don't really care. I have the short bit forward to use as a barricade stop on a short BRN and I love it, really comfortable, mounts easy and solid. This is a fine option...................................................................................................
