Love this thing. I've installed two over the past year on builds and love the look and performance. I have not noticed the 'ding' others have mentioned on either build. It does greatly reduce the flash!
Small change makes a huge difference

SIG SAUER Grip Upgrade Kit, P226, E2
Seems like a small change, but the entire feel of the pistol has improved. I disliked the original grips as they felt overly large for my liking. These are a tad thinner but it's a world of difference. I have reconsidered selling the P226 and it's now one of my favorites!
2nd item assembled incorrectly.

The replacement item arrived assembled incorrectly like the original. Look at the product picture on the site. Notice the half on the right has a rounded cut out for the side without the ejection port. The replace arrived like the first item; two ejection port halves joined together. Please see my earlier review for the original item shipped. If I could post a picture I would. I even noted on my RMA to please ensure the replacement was assembled correctly. Wasted my time on this and will return.

Clamp arrived assembled incorrectly.

I like the gas tube alignment tool, but the clamp arrived with two of the same halves linked together. One side should fit the ejection port and the other should be rounded for the outside of the upper bolt carrier channel. Instead this one arrived with two ejection port halves joined together. It's unusable. The build is solid, this appears to be a assembly or quality control issue. Will contact for a replacement or refund.
