Great Range Eyes

Written on Mar 11, 2018

The eye pro arrived in pristine condition. More 'shine' than I prefer. The product pic isnt quite accurate. More chrome the length of the 'arms', which are pretty wide. The finish is glossier than it shows as well. That beimg said, I got them for the range, not the field. They still look very sharp and the lens on the precision blue mirror makes everything very sharp and crisp. More importantly, they functiom perfectly on the range as well. Fit flush to my face, which is extremely important for me when on the range, training. Teammates firing in very close proximity to me, also firing, and moving. The frames took several impacts from ejected 5.56, .45 & 9mm brass and not even a scratch. The brass that hit my forehead didnt get behind the glasses either because the frames were flush. In short, for the price, buy two.

Best Connector Out There

Written on Feb 19, 2018

With a little skill and patience this is the best connector on the market. A dremel with a sharpening stone attatchment can be used, or just the stone and manually remove material. Digital calipers are essential because u should not remove more than .093" of material. It starts at .4840 and when complete, should measure .3910. Go slow, be patient and you'll have a great trigger.

Stealth Recoil Spring

Written on Jun 09, 2017

Not any noticeable recoil reduction but it is definitely quieter. That depends greatly on the quality of machining in your buffer tube. Because the front end of the buffer is in contact with the interior of the buffer, if there are even the faintest of machining marks going in an opposing direction from the buffer, you will get a very loud, squealing, nails on a chalk board, noise. Until I switched tubes I was ready to throw it out the window.
