Great Bang for the Buck

Written on May 09, 2018

What can I say other than another good product from UTG / Leapers. I have several of their products and I would say I'm satisfied with 90 percent of them. This is not an optic to take to war or doing contractor work. But for everything else where you life does not depend on it, I would say buy it. I have every thing from UTG's , Aimpoint's, Trijicon's and ATN just to name a few. So I'm not some always buy cheap and think its great stuff type a person. But when something it built good and is budget friendly, you have to give praise where praise is due. If I was to say any negative about this optic, and its a tiny negative for my use. Its that the front lens is too reflective for my taste. But I made a killflash for it and that issue is a non issue now.

Almost Perfect

I really like the Leupold LTO for many reasons, but there are also a couple ways that they could improve on as well. The Likes are: It's Compact , well made, good clarity, and long battery life. It even detects foot prints and more.
Now for how I would improve upon the LTO Tracker: I would have made it shock or recoil proof. I also would give a realistic range of detection. 600 yards? Maybe if you were trying to locate godzilla at 600 it would detect it. Maybe at the most optimal conditions they got that detection. But the window sticker on my car also says I can get 40 MPG, which I have never been able to do. I would have given it 5 stars for sure if it was shock proof like the Torrey Pines Logic. Hope this review was helpful. IF not, I still got my 7% off next order for writing a review. Just being facetious.

Very Good for the money

Written on Jul 02, 2017

With spending a lot of money on Leupold , Trijicon, and Aimpoint optics, I started to run low on funds. I was looking for a very inexpensive alternative to a dbal or peq 15 style IR. Well not saying that this is close but neither is the price. With costing only 1/10 the price, I had to try it out. I only shot about 100 rounds through and both the IR and Green Laser are still holding zero. Quality seems very good for the price. I would go beating it to death but don’t think you have to baby it either. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I havent put enough rounds through to fully feel confident enough to give it a perfect score.
