crapped out after a few months

Written on Jan 09, 2022

Enjoyed initially. Intuitive controls. Bright light. Unfortunately it proved unreliable in only 6 months. The light when activated flickers and dims constantly. Sometimes it doesn’t turn on at all. I’m constantly replacing the battery to make sure it wasn’t a brand of battery that didn’t work (streamlight, surefire, duracell). I cannot recommend this product....seems like others have dealt with the same thing.

inconsistent/flickering light

Written on May 02, 2021

I’ve owned this light for 2 years. Used it on my glock 19X with the Trex arms Ragnarok holster. When I press the paddle to activate the light it will sometimes not come turn on at all. If it does turn on it flickers on and off as I run, change shooting positions (even as simple as stationary target acquisition rotating from the hips and/or shoulders will cause the light to flicker or turn off).

I have used the streamlight and surefire batteries and nothing seems to make it work.

High value & low cost

eveyone knows Surefire lights are amazing, but you bleed a good amount of money for them. Even the TLR lights are a little pricey. I like to invest in ammo instead of accessories. But the Inforce APLASTIC new 400 Lumen option was calling my name. It's a great light! I run it on my glock 19 and glock 34 right now. I use the TRex arms Ragnarok holster and it is great! The Inforce has an awesome hot spot for lifting up your target with a bright 400 lumens, while still providing great spill to log up the surrounding for good situational awareness. It's rugged and works great. The paddles are easy to reach and very easy say to operate, it's a very intuitive system. Highly suggest!

Highest quality BCG I've used

This bolt carrier group is really slick. The 2 settings (normal and suppressed) are easy to switch between and function flawlessly. I have used Yankee Hill Machine, BCM, and your run of the mill Bushmaster but this one takes the cake easily! The suppressor setting does a great job of reducing the gas that gets blown back into your face. I would highly suggest this especially if you plan on suppressing your AR.

Solid Sight

Written on May 17, 2017

Being a Vortex product this red dot has it's merits. First off it offers great quality for very little money. I wanted a red dot to mount to my AR pistol that I plan to SBR. It's a solid sight, windage and elevation turrets have tactile clicks to allow for adjustments the brightness settings account for all daylight settings and is always easy to see and to top it off, it has the incredible Vortex lifetime warranty. The dot slightly washes out in low light settings if the brightness setting on the optic is set too high but I've found that turning it down fixes the problem.

more accurate than you think!!

A lot of reviews bash these sights for being inaccurate at distance, I admit they are not "THE BEST" for precision shooting, but they get the job done. I installed this sight on my Glock 19 that i carry and they are easy to acquire, line up and put shots on target QUICKLY. I have been using these sights for about 9 months and they are GREAT! Would definitely recommend for any personal/home defense sidearm.
