Best Gift Ever

This was a Christmas gift for my son who's studying astronomy in college.
I know nothing about these telescopes, but Optics Planet has such a huge selection, they made it easy to decide on this one that fit my budget.
By his reaction on opening the package I knew I made the perfect decision.
He said it was better than any he ever imagined he owned. With more possibilities than he could have asked for.
He dove into the included manual and 3 DVD's that assist in the setup and use.
I'm thrilled by my desision to purchase this to advance his passion and possible future career.
