Color is on the medium to darker side of FDE, mag has good gripping panels on the front and back, as well as a large release button on the bottom making disassembly for cleaning easy. Had no issues with cycling or feeding the the various grains of.223 and 5.56 I put through it. Overall a good polymer mag so far.
