Fits the Ruger Mark IV Hunter pistol perfectly. Strap to hold pistol in is not needed....friction fit does the job. For the price...outstanding value. All the dots are just to hit min limit of review. The key thing is while not listed as fitting the Ruger Mark IV Hunter...it does the job quite well

For some rifles the size and weight of this optic might be a problem. I have mounted this on my WW1 M1917 Eddystone 30-06, which is a heavy, long rifle already....so weight and size are no issue. I have found this to have superior performance for the price, and even if it was priced even higher it would still be worth the money. In all optics there are trade offs. Shorter scopes to get performance have to rely on better lens which cost more money. In this case (in my opinion) you get the performance advertised because of the additional length of the scope allows less costlier lens. Since size and weight did not matter on this rifle, it was a good trade off to allow my old eyes to see further and better. The elevation and windage adjustments are numbered which is a plus as it allows one to have known settings for different ammo.

Purchase this as an inexpensive way to help aging eyes. Mounted this on a Ruger Blackhawk 357. Improved my accuracy considerably when beyond 25 yds. Mounted it on my M1 carbine with a UTG bracket for the M1. That showed a considerable improvement over the iron peep sights at all ranges especially the longer ones. Left it on the M1 and will purchase another for the revolver. Have several other red dots....this circle and dot combo work much better for my senior citizen eyes. The quick release is nice but I still used the supplied Allen wrench to tighten it up a little further, as I don't plan on removing it after each use

Bought these super high scope mounts for Ruger Mini 14.....they where not high enough to mount a 50 or 40mm scope...quality looks good....just did not do what I needed.

Product works well and performs as advertised. Switch does tend to pop on if not in suitable holster but that was known upfront. Has maintained laser position after several hundred rounds fired. As a senior citizen it better allows me to focus on the target with both eyes open. In a confrontation this means better overall situation awareness.
