First off compatibility, yes, it fits my Rock Island M1911 A1-FS
It was a tight fit, and from what I remember I may have lightly touched it with a flat diamond file. These sights are what I consider to be a slight improvement over factory. However, the luminescent material they used in the dots seems to be of poor quality. I’ve had these for a year now and i’ve seen the ability to hold a start “Charge“ has diminished considerably. How can these be considered night sights when you need light to charge them?
