Buy it. Both the green and white lights are very bright. Objects are easy to see at near and far ranges. A big plus is that the battery isn't rechargeable. Carrying extra batteries beats being in the dark once the rechargeable battery loses its charge. One suggestion--put the caplight on upside down, with the logo clip on the underside of the cap bill. Doing so makes the light section button much easier to use.

Very grippy, well-suited to my glove size 10/large hand, yet suitable for use with insulated gloves as well as with bare hands or regular shooting gloves. The various textured surfaces inspire instant confidence in the ability to keep the firearm in hand under all circumstances. The battery storage compartment opens easily with a 223/5.56 round; and the gasket under the compartment door assures that the batteries will stay dry in rainy weather or a fall while crossing a creek or slough. Buy it.
