Superior Covers, Though Expensive

I've been using these covers for years. Every Leupold scope that I own or have owned (7) received a set of these to protect the glass. O-ring seals, magnetic releases, superior fit and finish- I don't believe there are better scope covers on the market to protect your expensive optics. Which brings me to expensive. The only downside is their cost. However, when you consider the cost of the optics they protect, I shouldn't complain. So I complained to the level of one star. If they were more affordable, or better yet came with the scopes (at over $500 for a scope I'd think Leupold could include these covers!) I would have rated 5 Stars. If cost isn't an issue for you, these are the best you can get. Do yourself a favor. Getcha some!

Nice Illuminated Reticle Scout Scope

I've been a big fan of Leupold products since the 70's when I started using scopes. When the scout scope concept came into play, I purchased a Leupold FX-II, 2.5 x 28mm Scout scope for my Marlin 1895 Guide Gun. Simply put, I love it. Now, with another 1895, I figured I'd try the VXR 1.5 x 33mm Firedot. Same concept. A little bigger, a little heavier, forward mounted scope, easy both eyes open sighting, and now ILLUMINATION! This scope brings the Scout scope concept into the 21st century.
The intensity of the dot at the center of the crosshairs is adjustable at the bush of a button. It has an auto off feature to save battery life. My older eyes surely do appreciate the firedot. Kinda like the red dot Trijicon MRO on my AR, only with up to 5X magnification.

YES, It Fits My M&P 10!

I'd searched all over the web trying to figure out if the Raptor ambi .308 charging handle would run in my S&W M&P 10. I'd received conflicting answers on multiple sites. Very happy to state that it arrived today and dropped right in. No mods required. YES! Needless to say, I am a very happy camper!
