I wrote a review a few days ago on this when actually it was the Winchester 115 grain FMJ. I said I had measured the OALs and that they ranged from 1.41” to 1.61”. ActuaLly they were 1.041” to 1.061”. (Still quite a large variation). I was worried that they might not be factory. Since then I’ve seen on other sites that Winchester ammo is notorious for that type of spread and has nothing to do with Optics Planet.

I bought 5 boxes of this ammo and I checked some for how consistent the oal was. I was upset to see that they ranged from 1.41” to 1.6”. Maybe I’m wrong but that doesn’t seem like factory ammo. Makes me wonder what I bought. PS- the case mouth variance was also very high and some seemed roll crimped gouging into the bullets.
