Atibal AT-MCRD PRO Micro Red Dot Sight
I tried the cheaper optics, but quality was not great. This thing is small, tough, and works great. What's not to like? I appreciate the easy to access AAA battery, much better and cheaper than the coin batteries. Don't just take my word for it, the reviews on this great little optic are proof enough. You will need a riser on many rifles, but they are cheap enough to buy. Highly recommended!

Very inexpensive, lightweight, what's not to like? It's fine to have a fire starter in your pack, but that is a last resort, matches are by far easier. Lots of other inexpensive must have pack supplies on Optics Planet. Really no excuse to go without.

UST Hear-Me Whistle
It's lightweight, inexpensive, and a must have for hikers. What's not to like? I've seen these much more expensive, but this does the same thing so why pay more? Emergency supplies like this (include an emergency blanket, water purifier, flashlight, matches or a fire starter) are essential.

Coghlans Pack I First Aid Kit
It's very small and light, which is good if you are carrying a pack. The downside of course, it that there is not much in the way of first aid. If you don't carry a pack invest in something more substantial, but for keeping the weight down it's much better than nothing.

Magpul MOE-K AR15 Grip
I like slim furniture on my AR, as I have small hands. I also like to keep it simple, I never did understand paying tons of money for a simple grip. If you like the angle of this particular item, how can you go wrong?

I never did like the original Magpul handguard. Too bulky for my hand, so I had been using an A2 type guard. When I saw this I was a little hesitant, but I'm really happy with it. It's slim, covers a lot of the rifle, and is pretty to look at. It's a little more difficult to install if you don't have the proper tool, I managed to pinch my finger, but well worth it. Highly recommended.
