For something to say "american made" anymore? Very few products are made better in the US than China, but almkst nothing is made better in the US than Sweden. This ammo is extremely well made. The first box of 500(or what was supposed to be 500) was very very poorly packaged and did not arrive safely or intact. However, OpticsPlanet replaced the order(although, they really should have offered me thw choice of a replacement or refund, their customer service has been callous and irresponsible lately). I am ultimately glad I received a replacement because the Swedes know how to make Ammo and this beats any of the comparably priced and even most more expensive FMJ by Winchester, Federal, Browning, etc.

Cheap Ammo is Cheap

I got this stuff along with a dozen other kinds of ammo to figure out what I liked best for defense. These performed as poorly as you can get, styrofoam bits regularly sticking to the casings, inconsistent feeding into both the mag and the chamber. I have had a few catch on the slide of the very same gun they were made to be used in, and I haven't even finished one box of them. Definitely would not risk my life having these in my carry weapon.
