This is my third thermal scope, and I’m very impressed with how easy it is to use.

Pros:
1. Wide Field of View – A huge advantage when hogs start running.
2. Built-In Range Finder – Constant and outstanding performance.
3. Exceptional Clarity – The image quality is off the charts.
4. User-Friendly Design – Extremely simple to operate.
5. Phenomenal Build Quality – Feels solid and premium.
6. Easy to Sight In – Quick and hassle-free setup.
Cons:
1. Price - but it is so worth it!

Learning Curve:
The biggest thing I had to figure out was how to use the manual calibration. This is something the manufacturer should highlight more in the instructions. It took me a while to understand, but reading the owner’s manual first really helps.
Field Experience:
I’ve used this scope on about 10 hunts now. Like any thermal scope, it takes a few outings to master, but once you do, it’s a game-changer. Even my friends have noticed how many more hogs I’m taking down.

Purchased the Helion 2 XP50 for hog hunting. Very well made unit, light weight and had the same operating system as the Pulsar Trial. Wish I could upload some pictures, super clear and able to identify hogs at over 1000 yards. These units allow you to scan from the truck, or carry your gun on a back pack sling.

This is a beyond an amazing pieces of equipment. The Trail 2 was an upgrade to an Armisight Zeus. The clarity and view of the scope is amazing, range finder a competitive advantage and it is easy to use. Super easy to sight in and rechargeable batteries are a huge upgrade to the Armisight. I would recommend purchasing the XP50, it is worth the money. You will not be disappointed.
