I hate the AR platform safety selector almost as much as the absolutely terrible iron sights. This handy little modification converts the awful flip switch to a simple push button. It is crisp and clean. Truly ambidextrous. I chose the stainless steel version, but painted the exposed ends black. Comes with the proprietary detent. Takes about a minute to install. As a LH/LE dominant ambidextrous shooter, the ELF A.S.S is truly the fastest safety you can get! I didn't care for the red indicator O ring that could feasibly swell with oil or solvent contact. So I cut it out and filled the space with red epoxy, making it exactly like all other button safeties. It is solid and crisp and does not activate without deliberate force but still moves easy enough to use one finger. I have reached out to Elfmann Tactical to buy spare detents for my oops kit. Now if I could just find real iron sights...

You either need this or you don’t. CQR Gen 1 comes standard with a 15mm spacer installed. I’m 6’2” with long arms so I needed the extra 15mm in length on my CQR Gen 1 stock. Truthfully, I probably actually need the 45mm spacer, but they were out of stock.
Note: You can stack the three spacer sizes together toget the length you need, but will have to buy appropriate size and length metric hex head bolts separately.
As with everything Hera makes, high quality.

I needed a lighter pull than OE Mil-spec. For the price, had reservations. However, took longer to get the OE FCS out than it did to get this one in. Anti-walk pins and two hex wrenches included, though you need your own blue threadlocker. Dropped this in my DTI and ran 500 rounds through it. Zero issues. Didn’t change my accuracy, but improved my precision by a whopping 37% over previous 2500 rounds on a Mil-spec trigger. (Remember precision is different from accuracy folks…)
Half the pull of a standard trigger. No slop. Nothing I need to say that other reviewers have already said.
Now I need to unlearn my bad rapid-fire habits and practice with this affordable upgrade.
And while I am a purely function over form type, yeah, it looks good too.

Puts the fire and brimstone down range where it belongs and nothing else. No indexing needed so crush washer is not included. If you’re one of those OCD types that has to have indexed wrench flats, better buy a washer. Claims of perceived noise and recoil reduction are unfounded. Does not have any effect on muzzle climb. Best for use in indoor ranges. Are better options for precision, outdoor, and muzzle climb reduction. Pain to clean without removing it from the weapon.

As a ambidextrous guy shooting with what’s left..this simple, inexpensive trigger guard has help me clean up my mag swaps. As a relatively new AR platform shooter, I didn’t have any bad habits, but didn’t have any good ones either. As with most LED/LHD shooters dropping mags is a challenge and getting a fresh one in can be ugly. Works fine with other mags, but really does improve things with G3 PMAGs for which it is designed.

As with all the other Hera Arms products I own, this fore grip is superior to the competition. Most bad reviews are by the brainwashed masses. (See Notes below) Glass reinforced polymer superior in strength and damage resistance unlike a certain other company that caters to the Tacticool Crowd... Solid construction. Fits like a glove. No more burns from extended shooting scenarios! While not for everyone, if other angled grips just don't feel right, you need a Hera CQR Gen 1. NOTE: is superior to the Gen 2. NOTE 2: I actually purchased one elsewhere and received a cheap Air Soft clone. While officially licensed is obviously inferior to the real thing.

Perfect fit. Stainless detent an upgrade over the plated mystery metal of your OE Safety Selector detent. Affordable.
