Its a Surefire. Does anything MORE need to be said? No... but I will. The laser is bright and precise. Easily adjusted to any zero you need. And the light? A 1000 lumens is like staring down a locomotive at midnight. But it doesnt wash out the laser. They're paired perfectly. I have preferred these for years using them in my trade in construction. Several sizes available to custom fit you ear size and maximum comfort too. Plus the option to totally plug out ALL the sound with the smaller plugs. The lanyard helps to keep them ready to use. You can't miss with these.

I own an Eberlestock J-107 pack and have used it a good number of years now. I'm now 65 and am downsizing my kit. I've wanted a weapons light for some time now but my Kimber Pro didn't come with a rail. Well I finally upgraded to my new Stainless Steel Kimber Custom TLE/RL II that does and now I needed a good light. I wanted one that disoriented the subject so I was looking at the ones with the strobe light but they weren't that bright. Another reason I turned away from the strobe is that it would affect me as much as the subject (I think). I'd looked at all the usual suspects and finally arrived at the Surefire X400U w/Green Laser. The 600 Lumen light IS VERY disorienting because it is so bright. It's like a locomotive bearing down on you. This more than makes up for not being a strobe light. Next is the green laser. I own another pistol laser but with a red beam. They do washout in the daylight. Not this green one. One reviewer I'd read claimed the light was so bright that it did washout the green laser. I'm here to say that they have no idea what they are talking about. When the light/laser are used in combination the crisp green beam clearly stands out in the center of the white light. Both are VERY powerful. So much so that I bought a second X400U for my Wilson Combat Super Sniper Rifle in .308. I also really like the lights feature in the ways it turns on. You can select either laser alone, light alone or both together. The other cool thing is that there are off positions at either end of this so you don't have to go back to a beginning to turn it off. My Harris Bi-pod just broke a leg. This et up the situation where looking at all my options were on the table again. I'd looked at the Atlas product years ago but shied away because of the high price. Now... Same situation as before. But this time I can afford to trade up and so I took the plunge. And I'm happy I did. This Bi-Pod is husky in EVERY way, to say the least. There is no way a buyer will ever have a regret going to this level of quality. I bought 4 sets of leg extensions and the talon feet. I would highly recommend this product to other sportsmen.

I was sitting around one day trying to figure out how I could self film my hunts without a lot of redundant movement. I thought that if I could somehow mount video camera above my scope I could film exactly what I was viewing through my scope. Little did I know NightForce had already been down this road and fabricated this accessory platform. The addition of the third pair screws widening the mounting surface lock this down to my NightForce scope and the rail is exactly the same elevation as the elevation turret for a low profile.
