Worth It. Bite The Bullet and Order It

I'm building my first AR- I saw a lower for sale really cheap and impulsively bought it, and then started researching and ordering all the other parts. Since I'm not all that mechanically inclined, and since the thought of having the gun blow up in my face doesn't intrigue me, I sought out some "expert" videos and web pages and such for proper assembly instructions and procedures. I saw this kit and even though I'll never use some of it, I bought it. Fast forward to assembling the bolt catch assembly. You gotta get that pin in there. The instructions said to start it with a punch and then they show the guy trying to get it the rest of the way using a pair of pliers and a rag. Huh? I look in this kit and it has two specific punches JUST for this task, and a beautiful little hammer. The first punch has a hollow tip that holds the pin and lets you easily start it; the second punch finishes the job. Both of them are rubber covered so you can get a good grip on them and flat one one side so you can strike the pin perfectly. They are made specifically for this job-- and there are a bunch of other tools in there, made for other specific jobs. When they say "the right tool for the job" this kit is full of perfect examples. It has a huge mat to lay all your stuff out on; equipment to hold and position whatever part or assembly you're dinking with, and clear instructions on how to use everything.
