I had a ton of fun beating guys with $1,300 Razor HD's and Steiner scopes this summer in 3gun. Its very well built scope and the glass is clear. You don't need to spend $1,500 on a scope to be competitive in 3gun, if you want to great, but don't let anyone poo poo this scope because it costs less than others, just beat em and keep on smiling because you have an extra $1k in your pocket. My scopes have 3 seasons of shooting competitively and regular practice on both of my AR15's and both are still performing excellent. Holdovers work well engaging targets out to 300yds, and then nice to be able to switch to one power quickly, the reticle shrinks due to the FFP design and it performs similar to a red dot on 1x for quick target acquisition at short ranges. They hold zero and the substensions are right on for holdovers. About to buy a 3rd unit for this years build.
