This is a Nice light and extremely reasonably it comes with a pressure switch and button end cap. most pressure switches come with double sided tape so its stuck where you put it, this one has nice velcro straps so you can put it on and take it off and put it on a different gun and so forth. 500 Lumens is plenty bright for what most civilians are doing, it comes in a small package, and can take some abuse. So if you are on a budget and need a light this is the best on you will find.

There are not many options for aftermarket handguards for the Sig 716 but you dont need many when Lancer made a GREAT one from the start, a shorter Patrol model or the DMR model, both are an octagon so you can rest it on something and it wont roll and the rails you put on them will lay flat and be sturdy. Everything fits like a glove, and it makes the 716 look amazing, its a ROCK SOLID set up and it shaves a few LBs off of the weight, Its the perfect length not too much barrel showing but just enough. the ONLY Problem I have with this is that you have to take off 6 screws to get the handguard off to take the piston rod out to clean it, fortunately you do not have to do it very often because it doesnt get that dirty (also depending how often you shoot it). or you can buy the Patrol model and this isnt a problem at all. This obviously isnt a huge deal with the DMR handguard but a fixable problem nontheless. you can still adjust the piston and everything so thats nice, also the gas block has picatinny rails on top so you can put the front iron sight on it and it will keep a zero through H*ll and back.
QUICK Plug on the SIG 716 this has been a solid AR10 and I would reccomend this rifle to EVERYONE, its one of the best AR-10s out there for the price.

Maxim Defense makes a great CQB stock, It looks great, and screams QUALITY,Great quality Control, Great fit and finish, surprisingly comfortable, Pair it with a JP Silent Spring and it's the best system out there of its kind.
The ONLY problem I have found is that the 45 degree QD mounts on either side get in the way of the charging handle when you are using a Sling, also extending and retracting this is a little awkward. For most people the QD mount wouldnt be an issue, but if you are running and guning this is more of a problem, I just bought a Picatinny QD mount to put on the rail.

in the NEXT GEN a QD mount on the bottom and a spring loaded extension and better located retraction would be a nice addition.

I bought this a little bit ago because ZEV parts have always been great for my glock, and they look good, and this upper was only $120ish even tho it is stripped.
but then I looked at matching handguards and they are $250-300!
I start putting it together and the barrel (Ballistic Advantage PREMIUM series) wouldnt fit, I had to lube it up and pound it down with a nylon hammer. then the back take down pin was way off, from my lower. so i had to file it down. I know usually not everything fits perfect but this was the worst one.

then the handguard putting that on is a chore, you have a TINY pin you put above the gas tube to make sure the guard and upper dont twist. then the wedge lock takes forever to tighten down and its at the worst angle. then you have these other two TINY screws you put in. and it has a special tool to tighten the barrel nut

I bought the upper receiver awhile ago beause it was reasonably priced and ZEV has never let me down with my glock parts, so I figures their AR pats would be just as good, to be fair the handguard is beautiful nice finish, looks great. but expensive compared to the uppper receiver, I think i got the upper receiver for $120ish and the handguards are 250-300. First the first the handguard could barely fit the barrel (Ballistic Advantage Premium series) in it, with oil, I still had to tap it down with a nylon hammer. then you stick this tiny rod right above the gas hole so the receiver and guard dont twist. then you have to turn this screw at the bottom, to tighten the wedge lock which takes forever, then you put these two TINY screws in it also, you could be looking right at them and not see them they are so small.

come up with a different locking system, and make it a little bit cheaper. second make it a standard way to tighten the barrel nut, and not have to have a special tool, they include it, but its just another tool to lose.

besides that it looks great after you finally get it together,

highly recommend, easily tunable. looks great, Low profile good buy for any AR that needs tuning like 300 BLK thats what i have mone on, to fine tune it when i use different ammo or subsonic, or super sonic ammo. or different buffer spring like the JP style Spring.

ITS NICE THAT ZEV IS FINALLY GETTING INTO THE AR GAME. THEIR UPPER IS FLAWLESS, AND THE PRICE IS EVEN BETTER, BUT IF YOU WANT MATCHING UPPER AND HAND GUARD, THE GUARD WILL COST YOU TWICE+ WHAT THE UPPER DOES. THEY HAVE ALL DIFFERENT SIZES, AND THEY ARE NICE GUARDS THEY USE A WEDGE LOCK, BUT THEY ARE TYPICAL ZEV PRICES WHERE AS THE UPPER WAS RATHER REASONABLE I BOUGHT MINE FOR 120ISH I DONT KNOW IF I GOT A DEAL, BUT BUT THEM WHILE THEY ARE CHEAP BECAUSE I GUARANTEE THEY WILL UP THE PRICE OF THESE UPPERS!

I like how the light strobes, the way to get it to strobe is annoying, you have to push the button then push it again.
the laser looks like an asterisk especially further than 10 yards. the laser isnt very crisp. the lever used to change to laser/flashlight/laser and flashlight is made of very cheap plastic and its made so it could get caught on anything and break off. other than that it looks nice, the rest looks quality made. it has an extra picatinny rail (non removable) one of my light adjuster knob just spins aroundand is really loose so i returned it. if they updated this a little it would be an awesome device, but for now its just adequate.
the pressure switch is nice but it has four buttons but they all just turn on whatever you have the lever set on. the quick attach is nice.

worst front grip i ever saw, It looks cheap, feels cheap, nothing fits, the side panels rattle around, quality control at that company must be terrible, theres extra plastic from the forms all over it, the housing is not waterproof, which isnt the worst thing. and its SUPER uncomfortable in my hands.
I would never recommend this to use on even an airsoft gun for your child.
