very lightweight plate

These plates are thin and lightweight as advertised. They fit perfectly in my carrier. I hope to never find out about the bullet-stopping power of them, but if they don't work I won't be around to worry about it. They seem very well made.

High quality, well made piece of equipment. Molle fastening straps are secure and the elastic cord to hold the magazines in place is very nice. The elastic cords arrived tied in a knot but I added an adjustable fastener to each that was easier to adjust. That is the only thing I would change.
Poor quality. Waste of money.

We have 4 of these for shipping items at work. Of the 4, 2 have suffered major damage. Ones had the top handle snapped off and the other has a crack on the side that runs half the length of the case. Contacted Pelican and response was "warranty claim is denied". No explanation, nothing. I asked for one and got no reply. Poor quality item, worse customer service, and high price. Perfect description of this case and Pelican in general. If you want an overpriced, nifty looking, "tactical" looking case for sitting around then this is for you. If you want a case for actually protecting items and not falling apart then keep looking.
