Perfect for short action rifles
Written on Feb 18, 2026
I used this brake on a Bergara MG Lite in 308 win. The rifle weighs 9.3 lbs so it needed something that would tame the recoil and muzzle rise. This brake has a unique option that allows you to custom tune the amount of downward compensation by drilling out the preset bores that are not completely drilled through. I ended up drilling out all 6 holes and it is rock solid so I can see my impacts through the scope. This brake also comes with a pair of spanner wrenches to install it to your barrel.

No hearing enhancement

Review for
AXIL Ghost Stryke Extreme Ear Buds
All the videos looked like they would be a good fit but none of the ear plug adapters would fit into my ear canals. They would slowly slip out and were hard to insert. When I turned them on they wouldn’t increase my hearing volume no matter what I tried. I missed the none returnable box on the purchase page so there goes my $100 .

Christensen Arms Fix
Written on Oct 12, 2025
We’ve had many Christensen rifles come through our Long Range Classes and they wouldn’t group well. The fix was this M4-72 muzzle brake. These rifles would hold a .625 inch group or better.

Old eyes it’s a must

Review for
Williams Gun Sight Western Precision Muzzleloading Sight, Front Sight Only w/Reticle Inserts
The sight picture is greatly enhanced with this front sight. I’m able to clearly put the crosshairs on a target and be able to see the surroundings of that target without distortion.

Good adjustability
Written on May 12, 2024
Fit perfectly onto my Savage Stealth. The cheek piece pivots from the rear and rises in the front. It had plenty of adjustment to line up with my scope. It locked down with one screw and stayed secure. It came setup with mill spec inserts and also has commercial spacers.

Great groups
Written on Mar 31, 2024
I’m using these bullets in my CVA LRX using Blackhorn 209 powder and cheddite 209 primers. The 290 ftx bullets held great groups at a 100yr and stayed accurate through 200yr and 300yr. I’m impressed with their accuracy and consistency.

Tight groups
Written on Mar 24, 2024
I had great groups at 100yrds. I was able to get to 300yrds but hit a windage wall at 400yrds. I’d say that’s pretty good for black powder shooting.

Hard hitting
Written on Mar 24, 2024
Review for
Hornady Interlock Rifle Bullets,
Did some test loads for my 6.5 PRC. I used Staball HD for powder and fed 210m for primers. I hit a one hole group with 58gr of powder. My next test is for DOPE just to see how much drop and windage it will take to stay on target.

The perfect fit

Review for
Vortex Pro Riflescope 34mm Low Rings
I mounted these rings on a CVA Accura LR-X with a Vortex Venom 3-15x44 and it fit perfectly. The recoil of this .50 cal. hasn’t loosened a screw at all. I’ve got total confidence with these rings to get the job done.

Quality Amenities and Price
Written on Mar 05, 2024
This scope is perfect for long Range shooting. It can cover a gambit of calibers do to its incredible amount of elevation adjustments and parallax range. I put it on my CVA LR-X .50 cal. and it let me create a dope chart from 50-500 yards. When using the rev-stop system it gives me 47.75 moa of adjustment which is plenty to get out to a 1000 yards with most center fire cartridges. It’s in the midrange of weight at 24oz so it’s not too bad to carry when mounted on a lightweight mountain rife. All this and a $350 price tag you can’t beat it.
