I've owned my 5th Gen Glock 19 for over a year now and I love everything about it with one exception, that mag pull cutout in the front of the magwell. Anytime I was pushing for faster mag changes I ended up pinching my hands. These base plates solved that problem completely as well as filling in the cutout so that I didn't have any further irritation from it while actually shooting either.
