Purchased to hold spotting scope for range shooting. Gets a bit wobbly when the legs are fully extended but seems like it will support a smallish range scope at less than full height next to a shooting bench. Would probably be too tall, even when collapsed, for benchtop use.

Based decision to buy on review comments. Perhaps my scope was defective, but I encountered the following:

- Scope is HUGE and won't fit any range bag I would carry.
- Included (flimsy) tripod is clearly inadequate to stabilize a large and long range scope. Mfr shouldn't include this tripod.
- Eyepiece was extremely hard to turn and I feared might twist off. Fortunately not, and perhaps continued use would reduce the force required, but with its resistance I wasn't able to adjust focus without moving it off-target.
- Focus dial turns endlessly and never really brought an object into crisp focus - even at the lowest zoom.
- At the best focal point the edges are blurred. Perhaps superior optics are worth the premium price.

I thought I had found a reasonably priced range scope with good optics but this isn't it. I am beginning a RMA process today.

Chose this scope based on reviews from others. Thought I had done a good research job but didn't look closely at the size - it's HUGE. That's on me. But probably a no-go for many range shooters. Cheap included tripod isn't sufficient. Very tight zoom ring feels like it's going to twist off. Maybe it loosens over time but is a big problem on the flimsy supplied tripod. Focus dial turns forever and didn't really focus crisply. A little blurry around the edges once focused. Was surprised there was no packing around the scope in the box. With a rattle while I opened it I was expecting something loose but probably just the zipper on the case. Plan to exchange for another scope, probably spending more for known better optics.

Compact and solid build feel. No wasted space. Very small size for field of view. Carelessly lost original rubber dust cover but mfr quickly replaced. Replacement seems to be for a longer chassis - can't remember this from the original so maybe something different sent as replacement. Seems like it would take a serious beating.

A little heavy but probably appropriate to the optics and apparent build quality. Great clamp. Great eye relief. Thought I'd use the top rail but it requires too much head movement to sight. Added offset mount that tucks Leupold Delta nicely alongside lower line of scope. Top cap binds a bit on the rubber gasket. Probably overtighening on my part. Swing-away hinged lens caps require a little bit of thump to get closed - rear is worst. Rear cover is attached to focal ring so any cap rotation changes focus. All complaints are minor. Scope is a great product.

Great specs. Wanted to love it. But pictured scope has outdated/inferior QD that is almost impossible to remove by hand. Also, either the reticle isn't square to the lens orientation, or the top rail isn't level. Initially thought it was the top rail but another user suggested his reticle was off so it may be the reticle. Mfr has acknowledged the mount issue and changed suppliers. New versions will use upgraded QD mount. Did not resolve the out-of-level issue. Returned scope. But mfr has a great reputation, and was top notch in responding, so I may repurchase once satisfied issues are resolved.
