This is a heavy, sturdy tool that arrived with a very sharp edge. It appears to be made from excellent materials. Time will tell. The handle is a big plus for working in thick brush or trees to protect your knuckles and the strap can be used to hook on to your thumb so that it won't go flying if you lose your grip. A necessity for the Apocalypse. The sheath is a quality item made from good materials and provides a workable manner of carrying the Machete.
