Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 Spotting Scope
Have had this spotting scope at the range three times and so far I am very pleased with its performance. It is well constructed, the magnification and focus adjustments are smooth and precise. I have not used it beyond 100 yards but I am able to clearly see .17 caliber holes on white background.
I especially like the ability to rotate the body of the scope and lock it in place as it makes it much easier to spot groupings while seated at a bench.
I give Vortex high marks for this one.

Konus KonusPro 550 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope
the scope seems well made. clarity at low magnification was decent. at higher magnification that was not the case. the scope became so cloudy as to be unusable at beyond 9 power.
the controls operated smoothly and the turrets had a positive click to them.

the spotting scope is of good quality manufacture but appeared to be very cloudy to me even at lower (20x) magnification.
I am returning and will find a different spotting scope with better quality lenses.
