I bought a new XL slide with a red dot mounted and suppressor height sights installed from sig. I needed a barrel and was interested in trying the micro comp, so I figured I’d save some money and buy this barrel since it came with the comp… the flanges on the ejection port are of the barrel are too big or something. The front and rear are getting chewed up on the barrel and chewing up the brand new slide I bought every time I cycle it to break in the slide. I compared the wear I was seeing after a few hundred racks of the slide to my original slide and barrel (which has more dry fire practice and maybe 2k rounds through it) and there was no comparison. No such apparent wear on the original slide or barrel… I looked on their website, it seems the never been fired condition of my barrel renders it as “not in new condition” and therefore non returnable, which is ultimately not the bigger issue considering it damaged my new slide. Disappointed to say the least. Seems like quality control would have caught this problem. On closer inspection, the underside of the feed ramps seem sharp and have a somewhat ragged edge on the flat part of the radius. Really wish I could include pictures. I have it two stars tentatively, because I haven’t shot it yet to know if it even functions.
