The Predator Tactics Deadeye Rifle Tripod is sturdy. It is my go to tripod. I also love the way I can swap out mounting heads depending on what type of hunting I am doing.
I did have a problem with the legs not wanting to lock as solid after a couple of years, but I sent it back to Predator Tactics and they rebuilt all of the legs on the tripod - no charge. That is what I call a warranty and customer service.
Clear, crisp image. I needed the range finder option as well. One thing I did struggle with was setting the eyepiece diopter. It was really stiff at first and didn't want to break a $1,000 pair of Binoculars. Called Vortex and all is working well.
I have several. It hel0s to put a charge on them periodically. Haven't had any issues with Sighting them in. My only complaint would be the rubber plug where 5he charger goes can sometimes be loose. Generally a small piece of electrical tape fixes this.
As your gun ages, or if you make modifications like adding a suppressor, in order to keep your AR cycling properly, it is important to control the gas for proper cycling.
I like the Borescope, and I like that I can run it on my tablet (bigger screen). It is surprising what you see. There are a lot more imperfections in a barrel, even a high end carbon fiber. After using it, the cleaning rods came out immediately.
When I pull the bolt all the way back, I can barely set the lock to hold the bolt open. I have several AR 10's and when swapping out with any other buffer, heavy or light, I always get a little extra play on the bolt past the lock, but not this one.
The tubes and extension are well built, but there are no locks for the legs, so they flop around a lot, especially as a bi-pod. I will have to modify it so the legs stay put better and make it easier to use.
