Bright laser, difficult to align

There are multiple versions of this particular bore sighter available and I didn't understand the subtle difference between them when ordering. However, after receiving and using this product, I've come to the realization that there is a considerable weakness with the SKU I purchased. The version I bought does not have a centering arbor. The magnet had etched concentric rings to help with alignment but no proteuding arbor to make it easy. This wasn't too big of an issue with my rifles, but getting the alignment on a pistol was much more difficult. My advice is to purchase carefully to not waste shipping and time on a device that may not meet your expectations.

I ordered this with the vortex cut to accommodate a viper micro red dot instead of having my stock slide milled. The side took all my stock parts with no issues and fits and look great. The mounting screwes that came with the viper did not with with the slide, but a quick email to Adams Arms and the correct screws were sent right out.
