Have some other Vortex products and like them.
The height on this set of rings works well with a 50mm objective lens. I like the screw head design. Easy to torque to exact specs.
They were used with a budget scope. Rings cost less than 1/3 of the last 2 sets I have bought. Very happy with the price.

First time I’ve done an AR trigger myself. Rise Armament had a lot of helpful videos. It is literally drop in. Many less parts to mess with vs the mil spec trigger I had. And the trigger press is way shorter and crisp in a good way.

There are 3-4 manufacturers that I like to buy because they are quality products. Hornady is one of them.
Optics Planet has a wide selection to choose from.
Price is super important when buying .308.
I watch for sale or Blazin deals. The other factor is the shipping cost and OP also helps with that sometimes.

They got to me very quickly and at a competitive price.
Rings themselves are very nice and mount is almost foolproof the way they machine parts and keep them together all through the manufacturing process.
You can remove them and place them on another rifle and get them correct as both halves are lettered.
