won’t focus properly.
Written on Oct 05, 2024
I have 2 of these scopes and the first one is good but the second one has focusing issues. I can’t get this scope to focus clearly. I shoot springer rifles at a range of 40 yards and the target is always a bit “fuzzy” at best. At no time can I get the reticle and the target clear. It’s subtle but definite. I have compared this scope with my first Optisan hx and this scope definitely has problems.
I am often shooting in low light because my property has a lot of trees. My targets are often in partial or full shade. I know that scopes don’t focus as well in low light conditions but all of my scopes function well in the light conditions that I have. Optisan scopes seem to need more light than the others. They go more blurry than my other scopes in my light conditions.
I have had this second scope for more than a year so I will have to use the warranty to, hopefully, get a replacement.
So, in conclusion, I recommend these scopes only in good light conditions but not if you’re shooting in shady or low light.
