My ATN X-Sight Day/Night Pro 5x20 arrived promptly and I put it right on a rifle to start testing it out. I couldn't get it to save profiles or save zero, the reticle color and shape wouldn't stay. Everything returned to factory settings when I would turn off the scope.
I was a little disappointed, but I knew I needed to contact Customer service before I passed verdict. Turns out in typical fashion I needed to read the manual before I started. The first thing it says in the manual is to make sure the firmware is updated, as soon as I completed that easy process everything worked. My profiles and zero saved, my reticle stayed the way I liked it, and I haven't had problems since. At even makes it easy for you by notifying you of firmware updates that release.
This is really a great entry level option for night vision, and I was impressed by its one shot zeroing, and that it prints groups as small as my regular scopes.
Thanks for the great product ATN, I'll remember this whenever anyone tells me they're in the market for a night or thermal optic.

Great appearance and rugged feel. Both qd levers operated smoothly and locked into place firmly and consistently. There were no sharp edges or burs to be found, but the angles and curves that it did have were appealing to the eye. The only problem I had was that it wouldn't fit the scope I had, it would have been nice if the distance from the back edge of the front ring to the back edge of the feont ring had been included in the description.
