I so was a little hesitant to purchase this shroud because it was considered a "light" version. I actually ordered the larger, regular Safariland shroud originally. On that one, you can attach additional accessories like a mag holder or other things. To be honest, it is a LOT of plastic on your leg. I was looking for minimal so I order this one (also because it's cheaper) :-)

I'm an LEO and this is perfect. You can custom fit to wherever you want . . . make it ride low or high. The straps are solid and it's perfect for sitting in a squad. The only negative I would say is that you need a very rigid inner belt because that leg strap tends to pull down on your outer belt with this strapped on.

I had a level 2 Safariland holster and this bolted up in like 2 minutes. Very easy to use. I would also be nice if the upper strap had a buckle for a quick release. But honestly, for safety reasons, it's better that it doesn't.
