Attention - Extra Parts may be Needed
Written on Feb 05, 2020
If your M&P Pistol was made before June of 2011, you will need to purchase a a sear housing block assembly, as S&W changed size of sear plunger and spring after June 2011, from 1/16", to: 1/8". This trigger kit will only work with new sear block/plunger/spring. You will also need "S" or "H" trigger bar (S+H trigger bars were never made for M&P45, don't exist). Bar will be blank w/no "S" or "H" letter stamped into it if you need to replace it on M&P9, .40, Sig .357. If you have a Black Striker Assembly you will want to replace it with the newer Silver Striker Assembly, according to the makers of this product, Apex Tactical via email. I deducted a couple of stars for the hassle of having to research all of this. This info should be included in product description.

Top Notch Weapons System

Excellent quality. Streamlight provides four different rail cleats, so you are sure to have a positive lock-up to your rail system (will mount to everything but your Granddad’s musket). Not a big deal with a weapons light, but you sure don’t want your laser sight slipping around on the rail. >>>>>>>>>>>>> The 800 lumen light is blinding. Just what you want in a tac light. >>>>>>>>>>>>> Green Laser is easy to see even in daylight. Elevation and windage controls are easy to use (small Allen wrench). >>>>>>>>>>>>> The light and laser controls are easy to manipulate with the index finger of your non-dominate hand from two hand grip of handgun, as recommended in instructions to prevent accidental discharge. Although, the controls are easy to use, be aware there are seven different functions controlled by the two toggle switches and combinations, thereof: 1). Light constant on, 2). Light momentary on, 3). Strobe momentary on, 4). Light and Laser constant on, 5). Light and Laser momentary on, 6.) Laser constant on, 7.) Laser momentary on. “Off” makes #8. It would be wise to have a “go to” function (e.g. Light + Laser constant on) that you can go to in a high stress situation without thinking too much about it, and manipulate to other functions from there. There may be times when you need to use more discretion right from the get-go. Practice with the TLR-2 every time you go to the range, and perform safe dry fire drills (firearm + mag unloaded, chamber finger-checked for no round in
