Great upgrade on my AR-15/M-4 clone carbine

After the 30 wait for this item to arrive it went on very easily. Unlike some other reviewers all the holes lined up correctly, the top part mounted perfectly over the gas tube and both parts snapped right in. After mounting the handguard quad rail and the fore grip/light I found the remaining rail parts to be a bit rough on my hands, so I attempted to mount the plastic cover pieced to the quid rail, at first this was extremally difficult as the pieces were very rigid and I only got one on with a fight. I figured if they were plastic them maybe heat might soften them, so I placed them in a cup of very hot water for about 30 seconds, and they went on much easier. I am so far very happy with the quid rail system.

NcSTAR AR Handguard Removal Tool
Once I finally got the tool after a 30 day wait for it to arrive, I got the stock handguard off my AR-15/M-4 clone in about 30 seconds, The plastic coating on the tool looks well done and prevents marring the weapon. If you have an AR platform with a Delta style slipring you need this tool or a friend that has one.

Ordered this based on several recommendations both in person and online. Received it in a timely manner and found it easy to mount on the upper receiver of my AR platform. Looking through the sight, the reticle appears to be very clear in all three modes, Red, Green and the black in the off mode. Have not been able to take it to the range to sight it in so I will do another review upon completion of that task.
